The Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition has officially commenced. Industrial computer manufacturer Huiyou (5484-TW) is actively expanding into artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, showcasing its latest integrated hardware and software solutions, including edge computing, AI surveillance monitors, physical AI robotic arms, and in-vehicle systems. With years of expertise in image recognition technology, Huiyou has already gained strong recognition from customers in Europe and the United States.
Regarding core products and order performance, Huiyou’s flagship models equipped with high-end NVIDIA modules have successfully entered the supply chains of European and American clients, being applied in end devices for robotic dogs used in last-mile delivery. When robotic dogs perform deliveries in environments such as villa communities, they require multiple cameras and intensive real-time visual computing. Huiyou’s proven experience in visual recognition has earned customer approval in meeting these demands.
In terms of operational strategy, Huiyou emphasizes that its long-standing automotive projects provide a stable customer base and extended product lifecycle, with continuous fleet upgrade orders forming a solid revenue foundation. The company leverages stable cash flows generated from its automotive business to fully invest in and nurture high-end emerging applications such as AI vision and robotics, gradually expanding the added value of its product portfolio.
On chip platforms and edge computing hardware, Huiyou continues to deepen its collaboration with NVIDIA’s underlying software this year while launching new smart camera products powered by Qualcomm chips. It also showcased an edge computing platform based on Intel’s latest processor architecture. This new architecture reduces the number of industrial computer hosts required at the terminal by distributing initial endpoint computations and cloud-based management tasks, enabling diverse edge AI solutions.
In the field of image analysis software and algorithms, Huiyou introduced an AI video search function integrating large language models (LLMs) with intelligent retrieval frameworks. Users can quickly retrieve specific behaviors, area alerts, and object tags using text or voice commands. Beyond factory safety monitoring and video log retrieval, this technology has been extended and integrated into smart meeting systems featuring multi-speaker voice identification.
For physical AI and robotic arm applications, Huiyou demonstrated an autonomous decision-making system driven by high computational power. These arms no longer rely solely on fixed coordinate points but can autonomously recognize colors and object features for dynamic placement. Mid-tier computing models are already being deployed in European and American markets, serving applications such as food and meat grading, and baggage conveyor sorting at airports and hotels.
Regarding ecosystem collaboration and internal manufacturing integration, Huiyou partnered with Fuju AI to present a smart drowning detection identification system and a multifunctional AI agent system capable of automatically generating production line yield reports and other analytical data for factories. Within its internal group synergy, partner Yat-Wah (6109-TW) has already implemented Huiyou’s optical inspection system in its power supply and capacitor production lines, realizing internal field validation.
Facing the rapidly expanding AI application market trend, Huiyou notes that customer validation periods in the industrial computer industry typically last two to three years, and once cooperation is established, long-term business relationships often extend over ten years.
