AI is driving growth at Guang Yun (6125-TW), with the semiconductor business group showing the highest revenue share growth. Starting today (19th), Guang Yun is participating in the '2026 Taipei International Industrial Automation Fair'. CEO Kevin Ko announced that the company's order backlog has reached NT$6.66 billion. Among all segments, semiconductor automation has seen the fastest order intake, with its revenue contribution expected to rise from 10% in 2025 to 30% in 2026.

Guang Yun's exhibition theme this year is 'Technology Integration, Application Realization, Value Expansion', focusing on five key areas: 'Smart Manufacturing and Smart Logistics', 'Semiconductor Automation', 'Smart Rail and Public Engineering', 'AI Smart Robots', and 'AI Digital Twin and System Integration'. This showcases Guang Yun's transformation from an automation equipment supplier into a high-tech system integrator and intelligent solution provider. Currently, each of the three core businesses—smart manufacturing & logistics, semiconductor automation, and smart rail & public engineering—accounts for approximately 30% of revenue, forming a stable tripod structure.

Additionally, Guang Yun anticipates continued growth in rail and public infrastructure orders. Following projects such as Taoyuan Airport Terminal 3 and the MRT A14 line, the company has secured a new NT$189 million contract from state-owned Taiwan Railways. This project involves upgrading the CCTV and passenger information systems for tilting trains, with a three-year execution period. This award follows previous rail-related contracts, including Taipei Metro’s automatic electromagnetic doors and the baggage handling system at Airport MRT A14 station. Ko noted that such systems create an integrated AI monitoring and AI interpretation framework across stations and train cars, enhancing public safety. He emphasized that the growth potential for similar future infrastructure projects remains substantial.

As of June 2026, Guang Yun Machinery’s order backlog stands at NT$6.66 billion. The semiconductor logistics segment’s order share has increased from approximately 10% to 30%. The Guang Yun Group’s consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 reached approximately NT$1.859 billion, representing a 40.41% year-on-year increase.

At the automation exhibition, Guang Yun is showcasing next-generation solutions including automated picking, conveying, AGV/AMR systems, intelligent scheduling, warehouse management, and equipment integration. By integrating logistics equipment, control systems, and software platforms, the company enhances material handling and sorting efficiency, reduces labor dependency, improves production transparency, and accelerates supply chain responsiveness—meeting the needs of electronics manufacturing and large-scale logistics centers.

Furthermore, in response to expanding demand for advanced processes and advanced packaging, Guang Yun continues to deepen its deployment of in-fab logistics and overhead hoist transport (OHT) systems within semiconductor plants.
