Property: 910-Ping Site at Danhai Light Rail V07 Danshui Administrative Center Station Transit Development Project Announced for Bidding

Savills Taiwan, a commercial real estate consultancy, is assisting the New Taipei City Government's Mass Rapid Transit Bureau in launching the 'New Taipei City Danhai Light Rail Danshui Administrative Center Station Transit Development Project,' with a total site area of 910.9 ping, now officially open for bidding. The bid closing date is set for November 2, 2026.

Savills notes that the 'New Taipei City Danhai Light Rail Danshui Administrative Center Station Transit Development Project' is situated on Land Parcel No. 17 of the Kotien Section, south of Danhai Light Rail V07 Danshui Administrative Center Station. Zoned as a Mass Transit Development Zone, the site covers approximately 910.90 ping, with a statutory floor area ratio of 340% and a building coverage ratio of 80%. The project is being promoted through a mass transit land development model, allowing flexible planning for residential, retail, and office uses. Upon completion, a new southern entrance to the light rail station will be added, supporting regional industrial development needs.

Savills points out that this transit-linked development site is located in the core area of Phase I of the Danhai New Town development zone. Surrounding facilities include administrative centers, a mega-scale park, Danshui National Sports Center, Hsin-Shih Elementary School, and Wan Chia Fu Dan-Xin Store, offering excellent living convenience. To the east of the site lies the Danjin Anju Social Housing complex, comprising 620 units, featuring ground-floor shops, a kindergarten, and a day care center, scheduled for completion in 2026, enhancing local social welfare infrastructure and attracting a new wave of population inflow.

Recently, Danhai New Town has received two major positive developments. According to Savills, in addition to the Danjiang Bridge—constructed over ten years—officially opening in May this year, the Ministry of Interior's National Land Management Agency also initiated the public exhibition process for the 'Danhai Science City Plan' at the end of July. Through the Danjiang Bridge, Danshui will be connected to Taipei Port, Wugu, and Taoyuan Aerotropolis, integrating technology industries, research and innovation, and life service functions, realizing Danhai New Town's vision of 'local education, local employment, and local aging.'

External transportation access and living amenities in Danhai New Town continue to strengthen, promoting local commercial development and job growth, further improving residents' convenient living environment and driving the new town toward transit-oriented development (TOD).
