China Airlines (2610-TW) announced today the launch of a new business class tableware series, set to debut on September 1 across premium business class services on routes to Frankfurt, Prague, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland. This initiative marks a strategic move to strengthen its appeal among high-end business travelers on European and trans-Tasman routes.
Following the success of its Japanese-style business class tableware, China Airlines has once again partnered with JIA Home, a Taiwan-based brand renowned for winning multiple international design awards, to co-create this new collection. Centered around the theme of "home," the design aims to evoke a sense of comfort and familiarity, akin to returning home after a journey. The porcelain pieces feature a gradient of China Airlines’ signature "Sustainable Teal" color, complemented by a grayscale mountain motif, inviting passengers to "step into the forest and see China Airlines."
The premium business class/tableware series includes over 30 items such as main course plates, multi-functional dishes, stainless steel cutlery, and glassware, seamlessly blending Eastern aesthetic symbolism with practical functionality.
China Airlines continues to enhance its premium cabin products and in-flight dining experience, earning consistent recognition from international evaluators. Notably, the airline has achieved the milestone of winning the APEX Five Star Global Airline Award for ten consecutive terms. It has also received accolades from publications such as Onboard Hospitality and TravelPlus for its outstanding business class service and in-flight dining.
China Airlines emphasizes that through refined dining offerings, amenity design, and cabin ambiance, it aims to elevate the overall passenger experience and demonstrate its aviation excellence in delivering superior service quality.
