Taiwan's stock market opened higher today (24th) but turned negative, entering a volatile consolidation phase. Only silicon wafers, DRAM memory, and shipping stocks performed relatively well. In the final session, large-cap electronics stocks faced heavy sell-offs, dragging the index down 461.97 points (1.02%) to close at 44,762.32 points—breaking below the 45,000-point psychological level and falling below both the 5-day and quarterly moving averages. Trading volume further declined to NT$629.427 billion, the lowest since April 7. Among institutional investors, foreign investors sold NT$15.75 billion, proprietary traders sold NT$4.331 billion, and investment trusts bought NT$3.705 billion, resulting in a total net sell of NT$16.377 billion.
