Ever Rainbow Advanced (6618-TW) is expanding its footprint in the drone industry, unveiling three key products and application solutions: inspection and reconnaissance drones, a large hexacopter logistics drone, and a VR drone simulator—drawing a visit from European defense industry representatives for technical exchange.
Having long specialized in aerospace-grade high-performance thermoplastic carbon fiber composites, Ever Rainbow Advanced’s new facility in Nantou has already obtained AS9100D aerospace quality management system certification. In recent years, the company has continuously collaborated with domestic drone industry partners. As part of this effort, it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Fengzhao Aerospace, Taiwan’s leading manufacturer of drone fuel nozzles, to jointly develop and procure components. The two companies will collaborate on the development, manufacturing, and market expansion of the Cougar drone.
Ever Rainbow Advanced is focusing on the 'inspection + reconnaissance' application of small drones, demonstrating mission simulations along planned routes within factory premises and surrounding areas. The demonstration showcased functions such as定点 observation, area reconnaissance, environmental patrols, and image data collection, verifying the drone’s ability to rapidly acquire frontline information in complex environments. This capability is expected to extend to smart inspection, disaster response, and security monitoring applications.
The company is also targeting logistics transportation using large hexacopter drones. On-site, it fully demonstrated the entire mission workflow, including cargo loading, takeoff from designated locations, aerial transport, route navigation, landing in specified zones, and delivery of supplies. By moving beyond mere payload demonstrations and integrating large drones into real-world logistics scenarios, the technology is expected to serve remote area resupply, emergency material delivery, and disaster relief operations.
Ever Rainbow Advanced also emphasized Taiwan’s first 'VR Drone Maintenance Simulator and Multirotor/Fixed-wing Pilot Licensing and Evaluation System.' Beyond flight simulation, this system introduces immersive virtual environments for drone maintenance training, component identification, operational procedures, license exam preparation, and learning assessment. It is expected to be adopted by schools and educational institutions, certification bodies, corporate and industrial training programs, and government, defense, and disaster response units. Repeated training in virtual environments reduces risks and training costs associated with real drone operations, enabling the establishment of standardized drone education and evaluation models.
Ever Rainbow Advanced aims to integrate these distinct product offerings into a progressively formed unmanned systems mission ecosystem. At the front end, small drones handle reconnaissance, inspection, and information gathering. In the middle tier, large logistics drones execute material transport and resupply. At the backend, the VR system manages operator training, maintenance education, capability assessment, and talent development. This strategy drives the company’s evolution from an aerospace advanced materials supplier to an integrated unmanned systems solutions provider.
