A Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Monday (24th) shows that only 31% of Americans support U.S. military action against Iran, the lowest since the conflict began. This is a decline from 37% in March and 34% earlier in August.
The Iran conflict continues to erode public perception of President Trump. In two consecutive polls, only 33% of respondents approve of his performance in the White House, marking the lowest approval rating recorded by Reuters/Ipsos since Trump took office.
Additionally, 83% of Americans surveyed believe the conflict between the U.S. and Iran 'will last for a long time.' The poll surveyed 1,215 U.S. adults nationwide, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
