On the 26th, Taiwan's stock market opened lower but rallied strongly, closing up 663.16 points (1.47%) at 45,832.62, supported by Largan Precision hitting its daily limit, TSMC turning positive, and MediaTek rising over half of its daily limit. After six consecutive days of intraday testing of the 45,000-point level, the index successfully held above it and surpassed all moving averages. Daily trading value rebounded to NT$804.2 billion. Institutional investors collectively net bought NT$59.387 billion.
Analyzing institutional investor activity today, foreign investors net bought NT$36.598 billion; domestic securities firms net bought NT$17.933 billion; and investment trusts net bought NT$4.855 billion, bringing the total institutional net purchase to NT$59.387 billion.
