Foxconn (2317-TW) announced today (4th) that its subsidiary, Foxconn Singapore Pte Ltd, will issue ordinary corporate bonds totaling 1,019 billion JPY (approximately NT$206.56 billion) through the Medium-Term Note (MTN) issuance platform guaranteed by Foxconn, aiming to raise funds.

According to Foxconn, 65.7 billion JPY worth of the bonds have a maturity period of three years and carry an interest rate of 2.92%. Another 36.2 billion JPY worth of bonds mature in five years with an interest rate of 3.28%.

Based on Foxconn's financial reports, Foxconn Singapore Pte Ltd is a wholly-owned holding company of Foxconn. The company and its subsidiaries serve as operational hubs for sales activities across the Asia region, while its affiliated ventures focus on the development of educational technology.

Driven by growth in AI-related businesses, expanding global manufacturing footprints, and increasing demand for automation, Foxconn's capital expenditures continue to rise. Capital spending in the first half of this year reached approximately NT$80.9 billion, an increase of NT$3.7 billion compared to the same period last year. For the full year, expenditures are expected to exceed last year's NT$173.8 billion by more than 30%, primarily invested in key production capacities such as AI server racks, liquid cooling, and testing, as well as in global manufacturing and automation infrastructure.
