Lam Tsui (6213-TW), a copper-clad laminate (CCL) manufacturer, surged over 3% to NT$537 today (11th) on a massive volume of 7,485 shares, lifting CCL-related stocks including TPC (6672-TW) and Tatung (2383-TW), with TPC rising and Tatung turning positive from losses. Shares of Taiflex (8039-TW) and Fu-Chiao (1815-TW) also gained.
Lam Tsui has decided to expand production at its Wuxi plant, adding approximately 2.85 million sheets of new capacity. Additionally, its Thailand plant is expected to add around 600,000 sheets by 2028. According to current plans, Lam Tsui’s annual CCL production capacity will increase from about 5.45 million sheets this year to 6.05 million in 2027, jump to 8 million in 2028, and reach 8.9 million by 2029. Through expansions in Wuxi and Thailand, the company aims to gradually enhance its ability to directly meet growing demand for high-end AI server materials.
Lam Tsui benefits from sustained strong demand for servers, coupled with rising raw material costs driving product price adjustments. Its third-quarter operational momentum is expected to continue the growth trend seen in the second quarter.
