Networking equipment manufacturer Y.J. Tech (6142-TW) held its earnings briefing today (24th). CEO Cheng Chi-Chih stated that the company is fully positioning itself to capture significant business opportunities in the seventh-generation wireless networks and artificial intelligence data centers. The company is currently intensively developing 100G and 400G high-speed optical switches, with more high-end products expected to enter mass production and hit the market next year.

Cheng emphasized that the arrival of the AI era has created strong demand for network infrastructure as enterprises build private clouds and edge computing systems. In response, Y.J. Tech is actively advancing new software and hardware architectures. Its new 25G core aggregation switches have already entered mass production and shipment, with expectations for additional high-end models to follow in mass production next year.

Y.J. Tech’s product planning is fully focused on commercial applications, targeting enterprise-grade managed core aggregation and edge switches, with dedicated efforts in hardware-software integration. While continuing to deepen its portfolio of high-end Layer 2 and Layer 3 standard protocol products, the R&D team is accelerating the design and verification of 100G and 400G high-speed optical switches for AI data centers, aiming to meet the requirements of next-generation computing environments with high bandwidth and low latency. All R&D projects are currently underway.

Regarding wireless products and intelligent management platform deployment, Y.J. Tech is targeting comprehensive coverage needs in commercial environments, primarily developing enterprise-grade smart wireless access points. These products incorporate the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology and are paired with an in-house developed intelligent network management platform, enabling enterprises to achieve connectivity environments with high coverage, stable transmission, and convenient operation and maintenance—further expanding the market penetration of high-value-added products.

From existing revenue structure and market distribution, Y.J. Tech’s revenue primarily comes from OEM/ODM design, manufacturing, and sales of enterprise networking equipment. Wired products account for approximately 85%, while wireless products make up about 7%. Sales markets are dominated by the Asia region—including mainland China and Japan—at 61%, followed by Europe at 20%, North America at 14%, and other regions at around 4%.
