[Tokyo: May 28, 2026] Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and Accenture Japan Ltd have established a joint venture, "Rix Business Partners Co., Ltd.," to enhance business support operations and establish a sustainable operating structure by maximizing the use of AI. This move comes against a backdrop of increasing demand for higher productivity. The joint venture is based on Dialix Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical. The new company will utilize AI and digital technology to develop an AI/digital platform that supports business support operations for Mitsubishi Chemical and its group companies in Japan, which were previously handled by Dialix. By leveraging AI to understand and visualize operations that were previously human-centric, the company aims to standardize processes and enhance cross-site operations to adapt to changing labor environments. This transition aims to allow employees to focus on high-value business and manufacturing tasks. The company is headquartered in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, with Shinichi Nakata serving as Representative. The capital structure is 81% Mitsubishi Chemical and 19% Accenture, with 255 employees as of May 1, 2026.
