Amid concerns about rising prices and retirement funds, how many people are actually taking action? Although the spread of systems like NISA and iDeCo seems to have brought investment closer, many people have yet to take the first step. Therefore, we conducted a survey on 'asset formation' targeting 500 men and women nationwide in collaboration with Kurasapo Akita. ■ 71.4% answered they are 'not doing' asset formation. When asked if they are currently engaged in asset formation, 28.6% said 'yes,' while 71.4% said 'no.' Despite the buzz around NISA and iDeCo, less than 30% are actually taking action. ■ NISA is the most popular, with 66.4% utilization. The most common method was 'NISA' at 66.4%, followed by 'savings' at 65.7%, 'investment trusts' at 51.0%, and 'stock investment' at 49.0%. ■ 40.6% prioritize 'low risk and safety.' When asked what they prioritize most in asset formation, 'low risk and safety' topped the list at 40.6%, followed by 'yield and profitability' at 36.4%. ■ 36.4% cite 'risk of capital loss' as their biggest concern. The most common concern was 'fear of capital loss' at 36.4%, followed by 'anxiety about long-term sustainability' at 20.3% and 'too many products to choose from' at 17.5%. ■ 16.8% of those 'not doing' asset formation actually want to start. Finally, we asked those not currently engaged in asset formation if there is something they feel they should start but haven't. 16.8% answered 'yes,' indicating that about one in six people have the desire to start but are held back.
