PvPvE Game 'ARC Raiders' Implements May Update

NEXON, a creator and operator of online games, has announced that on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, its consolidated subsidiary, Embark Studios AB, implemented an update for the PvPvE extraction adventure 'ARC Raiders' that adds new trading elements and weapons.

Key additions include the 'Wandering Messenger,' a trade element allowing players to exchange weapons and items for limited-time, valuable items. Players can also purchase vault expansions and the new 'Expedition Vault,' which allows for the secure storage of up to five items.

Furthermore, the update adds the new 'Rascal' weapon, capable of delivering a powerful blow at a low cost, and updates to the 'Extended Barrel' to improve long-range support.

New Trading Element: 'Wandering Messenger' A trading system where players can exchange weapons and items for limited-time valuables. By trading with 'Armal,' players can obtain limited cosmetic items, blueprints, and Raider Tokens. In addition to weekly rotating offers, players can purchase vault expansions and the 'Expedition Vault,' which securely stores up to five items for retrieval after an expedition.

New Weapon: 'Rascal' A lightweight and low-cost alternative to the existing 'Hullcracker.' While it delivers a powerful blow, it is fragile, and reloading or aiming can be unstable, testing the player's skills.

Other Updates - Improved 'Extended Barrel' weapon attachment: Enhanced long-range support. Two entry-level models have also been added to increase accessibility. - New Cosmetic Item: 'Sandveil Set': A package including costume items with three color variations, a dedicated backpack, and face tattoos.
