In commemoration of the 100th year of the Showa era, the scenes of trains and railways that can no longer be seen are being revived.

NHK Enterprises and Crevis are organizing a special exhibition titled 'Showa 100 Commemoration: Reviving Japan's Railway Exhibition,' which gathers precious footage, photographs, and materials centered on the Japanese National Railways (JNR) era. It will be held starting Wednesday, July 22, at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

This exhibition will multidimensionally reconstruct the 'memories of the Showa era spun by railways' through various exhibits, including precious archive footage owned by NHK, works by the leading railway photographer Naotaka Hirota, 100 years of timetables, nostalgic railway bento, and railway models.

This event is filled with nostalgia and is designed for a wide range of visitors, from railway fans to generations who knew the Showa era and families who want to enjoy it together.
