About "A Green Park Shirosato Peach Hill"
"A Green Park" is a farm park with the concept of "Farm and Green, Surrender to Your Senses," where visitors can experience the richness of nature and seasonal fruits that can only be encountered at the production site. Through harvesting experiences and seasonal content, we aim to create a place where people of all ages, from children to adults, can spend their time feeling closer to agriculture, food, and nature.
"A Green Park Shirosato Peach Hill," opening in Shirosato Town, Ibaraki Prefecture on July 10, 2026, will offer harvesting experiences in a peach orchard*1 featuring beautiful rows of trees utilizing the labor-saving "V-shaped trellising (high tree height)" cultivation method operated by Japan Fruits. Visitors can enjoy seasonal peaches from July to August, with four varieties – Akatsuki, Madoka, Kawanakajima Hakuto, and Sakura Hakuto – available in relay. In the future, we plan to sequentially develop experience menus and content that leverage the charm of the region in collaboration with surrounding producers, businesses, and organizations.

About the Labor-Saving "V-Shaped Trellising (High Tree Height)" Cultivation Method
This is a cultivation method that utilizes a new tree shape created by installing V-shaped trellises, developed in joint research with the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO), and training the main branches*2 to form a V-shape. The V-shape allows for a more comfortable working posture, and the simple work flow due to the alignment of the trees is suitable for mechanization, leading to labor savings. Furthermore, harvesting is possible from the second year for peaches and the third year for pears after planting, with expectations for early orchard maturity and high yields.
Japan Fruits, a subsidiary of Nihon Agri, has been engaged in the cultivation of peaches and pears using the "V-shaped trellising (high tree height)" method in Shirosato Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, since February 2024. In February 2025, approximately 5,900 peach and pear saplings were newly planted, utilizing about 6.1 hectares of idle farmland. Combined with the orchard opened in 2024, the managed farmland area has expanded to approximately 6.6 hectares (of which approximately 3.85 hectares are for peaches).
