Shu Uemura, a makeup artist brand originating from Japan, is currently holding the pop-up event "shu sento" from March 27 (Friday) to April 2 (Thursday), 2026, where you can enjoy the world of base makeup that embodies the brand's artistry. The flagship store "shu tokyo make-up box" has transformed with a "sento" (public bath) theme, offering a special pop-up event where you can explore the perfect base makeup for yourself while enjoying a warm and inviting space using all five senses. The store, modeled after a sento, starts at the "bandai" (reception desk) area where you can enjoy special voices from the two "banto" (bathhouse attendants). From there, it's an experiential pop-up event where you proceed through the locker area, bathing area, sauna, cold bath, and powder room, enjoying activities in each area and discovering your ideal base makeup tailored to you. &TEAM FUMA & JO, members of the global group who welcome customers as "banto" (bathhouse attendants) at "shu sento," were among the first to enjoy the "sento" experience. FUMA and JO from &TEAM fully embraced their roles as "banto" at the "bandai" area, which serves as the entrance to the sento, and recorded special voices. There are three types of special voices, welcoming customers with a different one each day. Standing at the "bandai," the two, in their "banto" roles, commented to visitors: "We really want everyone to experience this excitement of entering a 'sento'" (FUMA), and "We hope you can enjoy the 'sento,' which makes your skin and mind feel refreshed just by being there, through our original voices" (JO). Moving to the bathing area, FUMA and JO entered the large "bathtub" photo spot, relaxing and chatting.
