Nihon L'Oréal K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of the world's largest cosmetics company, L'Oréal Group, held the national final of the 'L'Oréal Brandstorm 2026,' one of the world's largest youth innovation competitions. Following a fierce competition with a record-breaking 43 projects and 623 registrants, team 'All-real' from Minerva University was selected as this year's Japan champion.

This year's national qualifiers saw a high volume of sophisticated and innovative proposals. The top three teams, selected through a rigorous review by the L'Oréal Luxe Division, competed in the final stage. The winning team, 'All-real,' will represent Japan at the international final held in Paris, France, from June 18 to 19, 2026, competing against representatives from 64 countries.

The mission for this year was 'Redefining Luxury Fragrance.' Participants were tasked with redefining the future of perfume through AI technology, sustainability, and inclusivity. 'All-real' proposed a next-generation fragrance experience that vividly expresses individual identity, earning high praise from judges for their creative and logical approach.

Celebrating its 34th year, Brandstorm recorded its largest scale in history with over 380,000 registrants from 64 countries. Seiya Tsuzuki, General Manager of L'Oréal Luxe Division in Japan, stated, 'Their global sensibility and disruptive thinking are exactly what we are looking for in the future luxury market.' The global winning team will be awarded a three-month special mission at L'Oréal's Paris headquarters and a subsequent opportunity to pursue a career as a full-time employee.
