Located within the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, a National Important Cultural Property, The Tokyo Station Hotel is strengthening its efforts to realize a 'sustainable world.'

Tokyo Station Hotel Forest Creation In partnership with the general incorporated association 'more trees,' the hotel has decided to create the 'Tokyo Station Hotel Forest' in Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture. This area suffered significant damage from the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and subsequent large-scale fires. Starting in FY2026, the hotel will conduct continuous reforestation activities on 1 hectare of land annually, aiming for biodiversity recovery and national land conservation.

Contribution to Regional Revitalization As part of a Japan Tourism Agency project, the hotel's Executive Chef visited Happo-cho, Akita Prefecture. They developed five new menu items featuring local ingredients such as fresh fish and shiitake mushrooms directly from Happo-cho fishing port, supporting regional revitalization through local production and consumption.

Resource Reuse One hundred and ten roses used in a 110th-anniversary video and wedding floral arrangements were reused to create aroma bars, presented as commemorative gifts to guests staying on November 2, 2025. Additionally, for International Women's Day, the hotel was decorated with mimosa flowers, and mini-bouquets were presented to the first 300 guests.

Decarbonization and Energy Saving - **CO2-zero STAY**: Launched in June 2023. The hotel fully covers the costs of offsetting CO2 emissions from guest stays (approx. 1,062t in FY2024), equivalent to the absorption amount of roughly 75,000 cedar trees. - **Energy-Saving Facilities**: BEMS (Building Energy Management System) was introduced in 2012 to optimize energy performance. The hotel strictly reduces power consumption through LED lighting and automated air conditioning management.
