Cast the Strongest Ice Spell! 'Dragon Quest Island' Summer Event 'Master the Mahyado Trial' Begins July 10 at Nijigen no Mori

Nijigen no Mori at Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park will host the limited summer event 'Master the Mahyado Trial' at its popular 'Dragon Quest Island: The Ancient Genie and the Guided Adventurers' attraction from July 10 (Fri) to September 30 (Wed), 2026.

Last year's 'Refreshing! Hyado Mist Trial' saw many adventurers complete the 'Hyado 1,000-Time Challenge.' To commemorate that success, the advanced ice spell 'Mahyado' is finally being released this year.

In this event, participants will actually chant 'Hyado!' and take on ice spell training while being cooled by mist. Furthermore, by collecting training stamps such as 'Scrolls' and 'Magic Holy Water' hidden within the area, participants can master the 'strongest class of ice spell,' 'Mahyado.'

Only adventurers who complete all training can challenge 'Mahyado,' which triggers a release of massive cooling mist and impressive special effects. It offers an immersive adventure experience, as if the participants themselves have learned a spell in the 'Dragon Quest' world.

'Dragon Quest Island: The Ancient Genie and the Guided Adventurers' (Remake Version) Overview

This attraction, which began in April 2026, is a field RPG that blends the real and digital worlds of 'Dragon Quest.' Participants become the protagonist of the story, following original quests. In addition to the main quest, a new sub-quest 'The Foreign Prince and the Mysterious Stone Tablet' has been added, and the popular past sub-quest 'Challenge the Kandaruta Mischief Operation!' has been revived.
