NIJIN Academy Holds Factory Tour at Cross Effect for Out-of-School Students on June 25 in Kyoto

NIJIN Co., Ltd. (Koto-ku, Tokyo; CEO Tatsuro Hoshino) operates NIJIN Academy, an alternative school serving students who do not attend traditional schools. On June 25, 2026, 13:00-15:00, the academy will conduct a factory tour at Cross Effect Co., Ltd. (57 Minaminekoya-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto), a firm specializing in the world's fastest development prototyping using 3D printer technology. NIJIN Academy now spans 36 classrooms across 20 prefectures as of June 2026, offering both online and physical campuses. According to MEXT's 2025 survey, non-attending students reached a record 353,970, rising for 12 consecutive years. The tour targets students from the Kyoto Kinkakuji and Osaka Ibaraki (ARTCA) campuses, which focus on hands-on experiments and art creation. Students will observe how ideas become real products through advanced manufacturing processes. Founded in April 2022 by former elementary school teacher Hoshino, NIJIN aims to 'illuminate the nation through education,' operating 13 programs addressing issues from teacher shortages to school non-attendance.
