Regarding Adoption of Joint Research by the Tokyo Fire Department

In recent years, the number of emergency transports due to heatstroke during Japanese summers has been on a continuous rise, making the safety of field workers a critical social issue. The research and development of a "cooling vest for firefighting activities" utilizing WILLTEX's special cooling technology has been adopted as a joint research and development theme for the Tokyo Fire Department INNOVATION PROJECT.

This joint research and development aims to advance heatstroke countermeasures in firefighting activities by incorporating the knowledge of the Tokyo Fire Department and utilizing the technologies of Shuto-ko Maintenance Kanagawa Co., Ltd. and WILLTEX.

The special cooling technology used in this joint research and development is a common technology also employed in the special low-temperature cold pack products offered by the alliance companies.
