Nippon Express launches 'NX Moving ECO Rail Service,' a new moving service utilizing rail containers

Nippon Express Co., Ltd. launched a new service on June 1, 2026, called 'NX Moving ECO Rail Service,' designed for long-distance, small-volume moves using rail containers. This service is a fixed-price package suitable for long-distance moves between major cities. By utilizing rail containers, it reduces CO2 emissions from moving by approximately 1/10 compared to truck transport, contributing to environmental impact reduction. It also accommodates large furniture such as beds and sofas, which were difficult to handle with conventional single-person packs, offering both convenience and a clear pricing structure. To commemorate the launch, a 10,000 yen discount campaign is running until December 28.
