Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President and CEO: Koichi Hayashida; hereinafter "Nishi-Nippon Railroad") and Bocho Kotsu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; President: Shigetomi Higashida; hereinafter "Bocho Kotsu") will hold a limited-time summer special discount campaign titled "This Summer, Speed Up Your Travel and Fun! Express Bus 'Fukuoka ⇔ Nagato / Hagi' Summer Special Discount Campaign" from Monday, July 13, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026, to commemorate the first anniversary of the extension of the express bus "Fukuoka ~ Nagato / Hagi Line (Hagi / Nagato Otozure-go)" to Hagi City. The route was extended from Fukuoka City to Hagi City via Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and has been jointly operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad and Bocho Kotsu, serving various purposes such as sightseeing and returning to one's hometown. As the route approaches its first anniversary next month, we have prepared this campaign to encourage more people to use it.
During the campaign period, customers traveling from Fukuoka to Nagato City or Hagi City will be offered boarding benefits, including a set of coupon tickets that allow them to visit popular tourist spots at a discount. We hope this campaign will encourage customers who are considering a trip by express bus or who have never used the "Hagi / Nagato Otozure-go" to try it.
