Nitori's desire to make drum-type washer-dryers accessible to everyone led to the launch of a drum-type washer-dryer under 100,000 yen in 2024. With strong support from many customers, we released a slim and compact 6kg drum-type washing machine with a depth of 45cm in January of last year, followed by a heat pump type washer-dryer with enhanced washing and drying power in October. This June, we launched a heater type washer-dryer that maintains a price below 100,000 yen while incorporating an automatic detergent dispensing function.

While selling drum-type washing machines to various customers, we found that 10kg drum-type washer-dryers with drying functions, despite being family-oriented products, were also purchased by single-person and small-household customers. On the other hand, we received feedback from customers using 6kg drum-type washing machines without drying functions requesting a drying function.

In response to such requests, we have developed a 6kg drum-type washer-dryer that is ideal for single-person households. The main unit size has been slimmed down to match the capacity. However, the basic functions remain the same, and we have achieved a price of 79,900 yen by incorporating features such as a "Quick Wash & Dry Course" that completes washing to drying in approximately 1 hour, and a function that automatically cleans the tub, drying filter, and door gasket.

It is also convenient for washing small loads of laundry or when you need to quickly wash and dry forgotten clothes.
