Noboribetsu Sekisuitei to Host Limited-Time Summer Festival Event 'Yukata Festival' from August 13–15, 2026

Noboribetsu Sekisuitei, part of the Noguchi Kanko Group (Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido), will host a 'Yukata Festival' at its lobby from August 13 (Thu), 14 (Fri), to 15 (Sat), 2026, during the Obon holiday period. This event is open not only to overnight guests but also to visitors enjoying day-use bathing or sightseeing in the area. Guests are invited to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of a traditional summer festival unique to Japanese hot spring inns, together with family and friends.

The popular 'Yukata Festival' event, which received high praise from many guests after being held multiple times from last year’s Obon through this year’s Golden Week, returns for the summer Obon holiday.

A variety of traditional festival games will be available, including 'shooting gallery,' 'traditional goldfish scooping,' 'ring toss,' and 'wana-ge.' These games appeal to both children and adults. Participants can purchase tickets at the festival reception desk and enjoy any booth of their choice freely.

Whether during the relaxing time before dinner after check-in or after a soothing day bath, guests are encouraged to enjoy these lively festival activities together. Alongside rejuvenating in Sekisuitei’s renowned hot springs, visitors can create cherished memories of a classic Japanese summer.
