Welcome to the Heisei Retro World! A Summer Experience for the Whole Family

Keito (Kaito), a lifestyle destination operated by North Object Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Daito City, Osaka; President: Daisuke Minami), will host the [Keito Summer FAMILY LAB.] on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9.

We are excited to present a summer vacation event where parents and children can enjoy the nostalgic "Heisei Retro" world—familiar to adults and fresh and exciting for kids.

At the venue, we offer a wide range of intergenerational activities, including the Keito Heisei Retro Exhibition, where visitors can experience the culture and iconic items of the era, a Super Famicom game corner featuring "Bomberman," and instant photo (Cheki) experiences to capture lasting memories on the spot.

Families, siblings, and friends can play together and enjoy the unique nostalgia of the Heisei era while making new discoveries.

Additionally, we offer a variety of summer programs where each family member can enjoy their own special time—perfect for school summer projects, indoor festival activities, and special relaxation and fashion experiences designed for moms.

"I had this!" "What is this?" These spontaneous parent-child conversations will naturally emerge at the Keito Heisei Retro Exhibition.

Discover a collection of nostalgic Heisei-era items cherished by our staff—game consoles, feature phones (galakei), toys, stationery, and more! Experience a space that feels like peeking into the childhood bedroom of your parents when they were in elementary school.

We also feature displays of popular phrases and "Heisei-ryu" (Heisei-era common experiences) from the time. Nostalgic for parents, full of fresh discoveries for children—this is a memory spot for the whole family to enjoy across generations.

Heisei Retro Workshop♪

Exciting workshops packed with Heisei-era “kawaii♡” charm!

We offer workshops featuring iconic Heisei motifs, such as creating a feature phone-style decorated hand mirror, fluffy tail charms, and blister-pack-style charms made from fabric scraps.

Nostalgic for Heisei-era adults, refreshingly cute for kids—there’s something for everyone!

Whether attending with family or solo, everyone is welcome.

Miso-Making Workshop: Cultivating a Richer Lifestyle

We welcome Omekashi, a fermented side dish shop from Hanashi, as our instructor for a hands-on miso-making workshop.

Using pesticide-free soybeans from Hokkaido and rice koji from Amekaze, a koji shop in Sakai City with 333 years of history, we’ll brew delicious miso together. Why not enjoy the tactile experience of mashing soybeans while learning about the charm of fermentation and the secrets of miso-making?

Take a break from your busy daily life and enjoy a relaxed, reflective moment.
