Alternative Visual
The film label NOTHING NEW will hold a special exhibition, 'Champ Chime Chocolate,' from Friday, April 10, 2026, at a special venue on the 3rd floor of GinzaNovo.
NOTHING NEW is a film label with upcoming works including the Berlin International Film Festival award-winning film 'Child' and the original feature-length animation 'We Are Aliens.' In 2025, moving beyond film, they co-hosted their first special exhibition, 'The Unseeable Painting Exhibition,' with the 'Exhibition for Those Who Can See' team, drawing 30,000 visitors. This will be a new special exhibition by NOTHING NEW. We are now unveiling the alternative visual and details of the exhibition experience.
What is 'Champ Chime Chocolate,' the chocolate exhibition you can't speak of?
Champ Chime Chocolate was created in 1934 by Pulis Abington, a British pastry chef and businessman nicknamed "the Prince." While it captivated people with its unique packaging and deep flavor, its history ended after only a short period. Various speculations about its sudden closure were published in contemporary newspapers and industry magazines, but the truth remains unknown.
This is the first special exhibition by the Champ Chime Memorial Trust, an organization dedicated to preserving and researching materials related to Champ Chime Chocolate. At the limited-time venue in Ginza, Tokyo, numerous valuable materials will be displayed, including original package designs, advertisement posters, and novelty items from the time of its release.
Please note that how you interpret and experience the contents of this exhibition is left to your own judgment and responsibility.
