Purpose of the "Kodomo Nukumori Fund"

Consultation cases reported to child guidance centers for physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and psychological abuse are on an increasing trend. Even after receiving social protection, each child requires long-term, careful, and warm support to heal from their physical and emotional scars and live a fulfilling life in society. The "Kodomo Nukumori Fund" provides grants to projects that support children who need care and a safe place due to various reasons such as domestic violence, abuse, and sexual violence.

Grant Target Projects

Projects that provide care and a safe place for children in need of support due to various reasons such as domestic violence, abuse, and sexual violence. * This call for applications targets projects implemented within Japan. * For details on examples of eligible projects and scope, please refer to the application guidelines.

Total Grant Amount: 8 million yen (planned) Grant Amount per Project: 500,000 yen to 2,000,000 yen Number of Selected Projects: Approximately 4-10 (planned) Grant Period: December 1, 2026 - November 30, 2027
