The NPO Shirohige Tayuraka Fund celebrated its first anniversary on June 2, 2026. Established by medical staff from Shirohige Home Clinic, the organization was born from a desire to provide support beyond medical care to patients encountered in daily practice. With support from medical, nursing, and welfare staff, as well as local groups and volunteers, the organization provides opportunities for individuals seeking a place to belong to feel 'ordinary happiness.'
- Connecting through 'Eating': Through initiatives such as local dining halls, consultation bars, and support for young carers, the organization provides opportunities to enjoy warm meals and drinks. By experiencing different social settings, individuals facing social withdrawal are encouraged to take a step toward society.
- Connecting through 'Learning': Events include lectures for parents of children with school refusal, discussion circles, and the publication of the information magazine 'Tayuraka Town.' These events provide a place for parents to form lateral connections, with many attendees expressing gratitude for the opportunity.
- Connecting through 'Experiencing': Activities include the 'Higezo Vegetable Garden Project' and events using the AR activity 'HADO.' These provide new stimuli and a sense of achievement, supporting the emotional growth of participants.
Board Chairman Mitsushige Yamanaka emphasized that everyday happiness is what supports the human heart and expressed his sincere gratitude to all supporters.
