The Programming Education Institute (NPO based in Kita-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Koichi Ito) will once again hold the "Summer Holiday! Free Programming Workshop" in collaboration with the Kita City Board of Education. This event targets elementary and junior high school students living or studying in Kita-ku.

In this workshop, children will take on the challenge of creating moving robots and digital art using Micro:bit, servo motors, and the learning software "Kitaratchi." Creations can be used for school summer projects and are also eligible for the "9th Kita City Kids Programming Contest."

In the previous 8th contest, 31 creative works, such as a train conductor simulator and delivery robots, were submitted. The institute aim to support children's desire to touch programming and create original works again this year.

**Application:** Apply via Google Form by July 10, 2026. Results will be emailed on July 11.
