Providing Tailored Guidance and Support for Children with Literacy Challenges

In schools and homes, some children struggle with slow reading, frequent mistakes, or the inability to write despite practice. Approximately 8% of students (about 3 in a class of 40) are estimated to have dyslexia or reading and writing difficulties. Because these challenges are often not visible, children may feel isolated and distressed, which can lead to secondary issues or school refusal.

These difficulties can be compensated for through customized teaching materials and alternative means such as ICT. It is essential to identify the learning style that fits each individual child.
