NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS to Open on June 18! Facility Details and Opening Events Announced

NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS, a new complex featuring a hotel, restaurants, and sports facilities, will have its grand opening along the Nakagawa Canal in Nagoya on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Details regarding the opening events and tenant information have been finalized.

1. Facility Logo The logo was designed by Eight Design Co., Ltd., which is moving its headquarters into the facility. Based on the letter 'n' for 'NAKAGAWA', the design incorporates a door motif. The goal is for visitors to open a new 'door' to experiences, values, and interactions at this site.

Opening Events Topic 1: CANAL CANDLE NIGHT - Opening the Night with Light In collaboration with Kameyama Candle, approximately 3,000 candles will light up the facility from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on June 18-19. Visitors can participate in a 'Message Candle' event. Topic 2: Giant Piyorin Balloon Exhibition Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, a 7-meter-tall giant balloon of the Nagoya tourism mascot 'Piyorin' will be displayed in front of the main entrance from June 18 to September 17 (10:00 AM - 5:30 PM). Admission is free.
