Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for the Construction of the 'NTT EAST Pavilion' to be Exhibited at the 2027 International Horticultural Expo ('GREEN×EXPO 2027')

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Naoki Shibutani, hereinafter "NTT East") held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 8 for the construction of the "NTT EAST Pavilion" (*2), which is scheduled to be exhibited at the 2027 International Horticultural Expo (hereinafter "GREEN x EXPO 2027" *1). Along with the groundbreaking ceremony, the concept and new exterior images were also unveiled.

Prior to the start of construction, all parties involved prayed for the safe and smooth progress and completion of the construction work at the planned site of the NTT EAST Pavilion at GREEN x EXPO 2027. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Secretary-General Kawamura of the 2027 International Horticultural Expo Association, representatives from major partner companies involved in the construction and operation of the NTT EAST Pavilion, as well as representatives from NTT East as the project owner. Construction is scheduled to start in May 2026 and will be completed in December 2026.

"Well" is a place where you jump into a regional circular society and experience the world from a new perspective. NTT East has been rooted in local communities, supporting changes in nature and society. That power will connect you to the seasons of the future.
