NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tadashi Ito) will begin offering R12.3, a new version of its network visualization, automation, and map-based management tool, "NetworkBrain," from June 15, 2026.
NetworkBrain is a platform that realizes network visualization and automation on dynamically generated maps, supporting improved operational efficiency, faster troubleshooting, and knowledge accumulation.
The new version R12.3 significantly enhances AI functions, automating the entire process of analysis, decision-making, and response in network operations. This will accelerate troubleshooting and configuration changes that have relied on manual effort, fundamentally transforming network operations.
1. Key New Features of NetworkBrain R12.3
(1) Deep Diagnosis AI understands abstract user instructions and autonomously executes information gathering, command execution, and historical data referencing necessary for troubleshooting. It then identifies the root cause of the failure and proposes a course of action. The analysis results visualize not only the conclusion but also the process and rationale leading to the judgment, enabling rapid decision-making while confirming the validity of the results. Even inexperienced staff can perform advanced troubleshooting with AI assistance, leading to the elimination of knowledge silos and the standardization of operational quality.
(2) AI Runbook Companion Based on data collected through pre-defined troubleshooting flows, AI suggests response procedures and next actions. By adding recommended actions to the flow, troubleshooting accuracy improves, significantly reducing the time required for problem resolution.
(3) Quick Assessment Automates network assessments based on configurations and CLI commands for multiple network devices. Once defined, it can be applied to any device, reducing manual verification tasks that took hours to minutes, thereby maintaining network-wide security and compliance.
(4) Automate Network Change When an alert is detected during a network health assessment, it automatically creates change management tasks for remediation. It can also incorporate pre-approval workflows for configuration changes, achieving change management that balances safety and speed.
2. Availability June 15, 2026
3. Future Development LLMs (Large Language Models) used for NetworkBrain's AI functions are planned to sequentially support major LLMs, including those that do not require cloud connectivity. Furthermore, we offer a PoC plan that allows evaluation of the AI functions introduced in this release, so please feel free to contact us.
