NUCB Business School participated in the '2026 ABEN Study Tour in Hong Kong,' an international exchange program by the Asian Business Education Network (ABEN), held from May 10 to 15, 2026. Hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the program brought together 37 students from five universities across Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. Nine students from NUCB's Global BBA program participated, broadening their international perspectives through collaboration with students from abroad and cross-cultural exchange.

The study tour featured workshops, corporate visits, and group work centered on sustainable business, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration. Students had the opportunity to learn practically about Hong Kong's business environment and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.

Practical learning through workshops and corporate visits

During the program, students participated in workshops led by CUHK faculty and corporate representatives, learning about sustainability and business innovation. They deepened their understanding of cross-cultural collaboration through discussions and group work in multinational teams.

They also visited the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), HSBC Group, MTR Data Studio, and Sino Inno Lab, learning about ESG promotion, smart city development, accessibility in financial services, and examples of the latest technology applications.

At HSBC Group, students received an explanation regarding digital services, including considerations for users with disabilities, and actively asked questions. At Sino Inno Lab, they had the opportunity to experience the latest technologies and products, making it an impactful learning experience.

On the final day, each group made a presentation as a culmination of the program, announcing corporate sustainability strategies and social responsibilities. Utilizing the knowledge and international perspectives gained, students performed advanced corporate analysis from diverse viewpoints. The program concluded meaningfully, with students deepening their understanding of the importance of cross-border collaboration.

Global BBA Degree Program

NUCB has established the 'Management Administration Course,' a collaborative program across the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Management, and Faculty of Commerce—a first for a private university. It also offers the 'Global BBA,' an undergraduate program taught in English. The environment, where students learn alongside international peers from around the world, is comparable to studying abroad. All classes in the Global BBA are delivered using the 'Case Method,' which allows students to relive real-world business decisions, aiming to cultivate international leaders capable of proposing their own ideas to society through international and inquiry-based learning.
