Background and Purpose

In Japan, aging populations and declining birth rates have intensified regional disparities in dental healthcare resources. Particularly in remote islands and mountainous areas, the number of elderly and care-dependent individuals facing difficulty accessing dental care continues to rise, while the healthcare delivery infrastructure remains insufficient.

This project aims to build a new system for delivering medical care by integrating medical MaaS, visiting dental care, and digital dentures.
