Strong Support for Overseas Expansion of SMEs in Osaka Prefecture! Applications Open for the FY2026 "Osaka Prefecture SME Foreign Application Support Program"

MOBIO (Manufacturing Business Center Osaka) is implementing the "Osaka Prefecture SME Foreign Application Support Program" to aid local companies in their strategic overseas expansion. Applications for the 2026 fiscal year will be accepted from May 19th to June 19th. While filing for patents and trademarks with foreign patent offices is essential for protecting business interests abroad, the high costs are often a significant hurdle. This program subsidizes half of the necessary expenses for SMEs in the prefecture. An information session will also be held on June 2nd to explain the benefits of foreign applications and how to effectively utilize the subsidy. The program aims to create new business opportunities and bolster the international competitiveness of local enterprises.
