About the Japan Offsite Construction Association

The Japan Offsite Construction Association is an organization aiming to improve the performance, productivity, and quality stability of wooden houses and wooden facilities through the development and dissemination of offsite production technology for wooden construction.

Offsite construction is a construction method in which building components, panels, units, etc., are manufactured in advance at a factory or the like, and then assembled and constructed at the construction site. The Association promotes the use of offsite production in wooden construction and works to disseminate sustainable wooden construction through collaboration with local carpenters, construction companies, material suppliers, public organizations, and others.

Furthermore, by establishing production systems and collaborative networks for wooden construction from normal times, we are working to create a system that can also be used for the supply of emergency temporary housing and disaster relief facilities during disasters.
