Oishi Internal Medicine and Cardiology Clinic (Aoi-ku, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture), which has been hosting 'Sakuranoki Terrace' every month with the aim of addressing local health issues and preventing social isolation, will open a new base, 'Sakuranoki BASE', in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka City on April 1, 2026.

It is a complex facility where medical care, welfare, community activities, and small challenges unite, cultivating 'connection' and 'prevention' in daily life through natural interactions across multiple generations.

The Problem of Social Isolation and the 'Anxiety of Having No One to Talk To'

Along with the aging population, issues such as 'social isolation' and 'health anxiety' are becoming severe in every community.

On the other hand, there are not many places that cater to the small troubles of daily life, such as: 'I am anxious, but not enough to go to a hospital' 'I just want to consult someone a little bit'

At the 'Sakuranoki Terrace' held so far, we have fostered 'loose connections between people' regarding health and daily living through a venue for community exchange.

What emerged from this was the necessity of a base connecting daily life and medical care.
