Hotel Nikko Tsukuba (Tsukuba, Ibaraki; General Manager: Satoshi Furusawa) is pleased to announce the 5th installment of its interactive sensory dessert event, 'Sweets Mania: Faraway Summer Days, Reminiscences of Sweetness,' to be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

'Sweets Mania' is a unique event curated by Executive Pastry Chef Teruyuki Hirata, designed to be enjoyed with all five senses. It features live performances where desserts are meticulously finished right before the guests' eyes, providing a special experience that goes far beyond simple dining.

This edition's theme is 'Nostalgic Summer.' Motifs such as summer festival scenes and traditional street stall sweets from childhood memories are reimagined with a modern twist and authentic hotel-quality craftsmanship. Guests will be treated to three varieties of exquisite summer-themed sweets.

In addition, the welcome non-alcoholic cocktail includes an interactive element where guests pour their own bottled Ramune soda. The refreshing effervescence and nostalgic aroma of the Ramune are designed to evoke fond memories of summer holidays.
