On May 26, 115 (2026), Universal Cement (1104) held its annual general meeting and passed the proposal to waive non-compete restrictions for its directors. The directors granted this permission are Hou Po-yi, Hou Chih-sheng, and Hou Chih-yuan. The scope of the permission allows them to serve as directors or chairmen of the company's invested subsidiaries. This authorization is valid for the duration of the 25th Board of Directors' term. The resolution was passed unanimously in accordance with Article 209 of the Company Act. There are no involvements regarding business operations in mainland China.
