7. Background: (1) The NT$165 million fine imposed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on Chung Lian Oils Co., Ltd. is an administrative penalty directed at that company. (2) Our company is not the subject of the aforementioned NT$165 million administrative penalty. Chung Lian Oils is a company in which we hold a 33.33% equity investment. If the penalty is finalized, we will recognize an investment loss in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). (3) Regarding the media report that Taichung City Government will impose a NT$3 million fine on our company, as of now, we have not received any formal penalty notice or administrative decision from the competent authority. (4) With respect to the reported fine amount and related content concerning our company, we will handle the matter in accordance with relevant regulations upon receipt of official documentation from the competent authority.
