OpenStreet Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomoaki Kudo; hereinafter "OpenStreet") and Miwa Kosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Annaka City, Gunma Prefecture; President: Yosuke Funada; hereinafter "Miwa Kosan") have formed a business partnership and introduced 200 electric-assist bikes to the bike-sharing service "HELLO CYCLING" from September 2026.
OpenStreet operates the electric-assist bike-sharing service "HELLO CYCLING" in 30 prefectures, with approximately 15,100 stations. The number of bikes exceeds approximately 62,000, and about 6 million members use the service.
Miwa Kosan was founded in 1977 and is engaged in steel fabrication, cutting and shaping steel plates and shaped steel, assembling them three-dimensionally, and finishing with welding.
Through this new participation in the bike-sharing business, Miwa Kosan will promote initiatives that contribute to solving various regional issues, such as improving convenience and mobility for local residents and environmental measures.
OpenStreet and Miwa Kosan will continue to expand the electric-assist bike-sharing service, contributing to the creation of livable and safe communities, and realizing a sustainable society through the provision of environmentally friendly transportation that emits no CO2.
How to Use HELLO CYCLING
To use the service, you need to download the HELLO CYCLING app. After free membership registration, you can easily search for stations, reserve bikes, and make payments. You can rent and return bikes at any station shown on the app map nationwide, using the service whenever and for as long as you need.
