OpenStreet Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomoaki Kudo; hereinafter 'OpenStreet') and Suga Kikai Industry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka; President: Taiki Suga; hereinafter 'Suga Kikai') have formed a business partnership and announced the introduction of 200 electric-assist bicycles to the bike-sharing service 'HELLO CYCLING' starting September 2026.

OpenStreet operates the electric-assist bicycle sharing service 'HELLO CYCLING' across 30 prefectures, with approximately 15,100 stations. The fleet exceeds approximately 62,000 bicycles, serving about 6 million members.

Suga Kikai, headquartered in Osaka City, has offices in Kanto, Tohoku, and Kyushu, and is engaged in the sale of ships, cargo handling equipment, construction materials, and the rental of temporary materials and various civil engineering and construction machinery.

Through this new participation in the bike-sharing business, Suga Kikai will promote initiatives that contribute to solving various regional issues, such as improving convenience and mobility for local residents and addressing environmental concerns.

OpenStreet and Suga Kikai will continue to expand the electric-assist bicycle sharing service, contributing to the creation of livable and safe communities, and realizing sustainable regional societies by providing environmentally friendly transportation that emits no CO2.

How to Use 'HELLO CYCLING'

To use the service, you need to download the 'HELLO CYCLING' app. After free membership registration, you can easily search for stations, reserve bicycles, and make payments. You can rent and return bicycles at any station shown on the app's map nationwide, making it convenient to use whenever and as much as you want.
