Survey Background and Overview With the widespread adoption of AI tools, the landscape of job hunting is undergoing a transformation. An increasing number of job seekers are leveraging AI for interview practice and document preparation, and there are also voices from companies indicating they are beginning to consider AI skills in their selection processes.

Additionally, cases are emerging where job seekers use a company's AI utilization status as a criterion when choosing their next workplace. The job market is shifting towards a state where both job seekers and companies are increasingly conscious of AI adoption.

Therefore, this survey was conducted among 175 individuals who have changed jobs within the past year to investigate the actual state of AI utilization in job hunting, evaluation criteria in selection processes, and the impact on company choice.

Survey Summary - Approximately 60% (61.15%) of job changers utilize AI in their job search. - The top use case for AI is "interview response practice" at 58.88%. - About 60% of job changers felt that AI skills were an evaluation criterion in the selection process. - Approximately 50% of job changers used a company's AI adoption level as a factor in choosing their next job.

Key Data from the "AI Era Job Hunting" Survey Key Data ①: Over 60% of Job Changers Use AI; Main Uses Include Interview Practice and Company Research Of the 175 individuals who changed jobs within the past year, 61.15% utilized AI in their job search, combining those who "often used it" (34.29%) and "somewhat used it" (26.86%).

Regarding the situations where AI was used (multiple responses allowed, targeting 107 AI users), "interview response practice" was the most frequent at 58.88%, followed by "company research" at 50.47%, and "resume/work history creation" at 48.60%.

The high ranking of uses in the preparation phase, directly related to the selection process, indicates that AI is being widely employed as a tool to enhance the efficiency of job hunting.

Key Data ②: AI Skills as an Evaluation Criterion in Selection; About 60% Felt They Were Required Of the 143 respondents who did not answer that it was unrelated to their job type, 62.94% felt that AI skills and experience were an evaluation criterion in the selection process, combining those who felt they were "clearly required" (24.48%) and "somewhat required" (38.46%).

Including the "somewhat required" category, over 60% of job changers were conscious of their AI capabilities during selection, suggesting that even if not explicitly stated in job descriptions, AI proficiency might be incorporated into evaluation criteria.

Key Data ③: Approximately 50% of Job Changers Consider Company's AI Use When Choosing a New Job Of the 146 respondents who did not answer that it was unnecessary to consider due to their job type, 51.37% considered a company's AI utilization status as a factor in choosing their next job, combining those who "actively considered it" (22.60%) and "somewhat considered it" (28.77%).

This indicates a simultaneous trend where companies are beginning to focus on AI skills in their selection processes, and job seekers are using a company's AI environment as a criterion for choosing their next workplace. The degree of AI adoption is starting to function as a reciprocal evaluation axis in the job market.
