Two Programs Connecting Artists with Local Community Hubs

Arts Commission Yokohama (ACY), an intermediary support program connecting arts and society, is strengthening its efforts to make art accessible throughout Yokohama. The newly launched Program 1 involves artists conducting workshops at local hubs, followed by artwork production and exhibitions. Program 2 involves community hubs collaborating with creators over two years to contribute to regional revitalization. Artists such as Kapi Shido and Kosuke Nagata will participate, with activities taking place at cafes and community bases across Yokohama. ACY is operated by the Yokohama Arts Foundation, and further details will be announced sequentially.
