This autumn, Yoshinocho Civic Plaza (Yoshinocho, Minami Ward) will host a dance event open to anyone who loves to dance. The event will consist of two parts: a competition with four divisions (U-12, U-18, General, and U-12 Solo) and a showcase open to all genres and ages.

◆ Yoshinocho Dance Cup is a two-part event featuring a competition to determine rankings and a showcase for dance presentation and performance.
◆ Anyone who loves to dance can participate. Why not stand on the hall stage and showcase your unique performance under the dazzling lights?

◆ Make Yoshinocho Dance Cup your "First Challenge"! This is an opportunity to perform in front of 200 audience members.

<Classes for Evaluation>: U-12 Division (12 years and under), U-18 Division (18 years and under), General Division (19 years and over), U-12 Solo Division (12 years and under).

Showcase Featuring Diverse Genres
◆ Dancers of a wide range of ages, from elementary school students to adults, and various genres will gather.
◆ It's also an opportunity to inspire each other by experiencing different dance genres.
◆ You can also enter the showcase along with the competition.
<Dance Genres Entered in the Past>:
Hip Hop, Jazz Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern Dance, Popping, Cheer Dance, Salsa, Kathak (North Indian Classical Dance), Uzbek Dance, Belly Dance, Kenbu (Sword Dance), and more.

Started dancing at age 6, has appeared as a backup dancer in music videos and produced stage performances/live shows for numerous famous artists in Japan and overseas.

Started dancing at age 4, with extensive experience including live performances and music videos for famous artists, performances at famous theme parks, and assisting famous dancers during her studies in New York. Currently active as a performer while working as an instructor.

・ Groups or individuals who can perform at the time specified by the venue on the day of the event.
・ No age limit (Junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by an adult guardian).
・ Maximum 20 people (number of people who can perform on stage simultaneously).
・ The competition will have divisions for evaluation.
<Classes for Evaluation>: U-12 Division, U-18 Division, General Division (19 years and over), Solo Division (U-12 only).
・ All genres are welcome.

1 Showcase (performance only) 700 yen / person (regardless of the number of participants in the group)
Expected: 8 groups (6 minutes performance time)
2 Competition 1,000 yen / person (regardless of the number of participants in the group)
Expected: 12 groups (3 minutes performance time; 1 minute 30 seconds for solo division only)
