Japan's Longest Counter to Debut: 'Bandai Terrace Hajimari Hiroba' Installs 90-Meter Symbol Counter

In the 'Bandai Terrace Vitalization Project' commissioned by Niigata Prefecture, we have installed a 90-meter-long counter at the new interaction hub, 'Bandai Terrace Hajimari Hiroba.' This counter is designed as a symbolic space where local residents and tourists can naturally connect and interact while enjoying the open location overlooking the Shinano River. In addition to enjoying food, drinks, and conversation while taking in the waterfront scenery, the space will link with events and local content to create new vibrancy. Furthermore, 'Bandai Terrace Hajimari Hiroba' is being developed as an interaction hub to promote the charm of Niigata's food, culture, and tourism resources through collaboration with local businesses and creators. By connecting visitors with the region, we aim to revitalize the entire Bandai Island area and improve pedestrian flow. Under the philosophy of 'gathering people in the region, creating vibrancy, and energizing local people,' our group will continue to promote public-private partnership projects utilizing regional resources to contribute to regional revitalization.
