Tokyo Ikebukuro: Times Spa Resta Launches New Women-Only Relaxation Menu 'Yomogi Steam Therapy'

Times Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Norifumi Kawakami) announces that 'Times Spa Resta' (Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Resta') will begin offering a new women-only relaxation menu, 'Yomogi Steam Therapy,' starting Monday, June 15, 2026.

The new 'Yomogi Steam Therapy' is a thermal wellness treatment designed to warm the body, ideal for women experiencing cold sensitivity or physical imbalances. By gently warming the body at a comfortable, non-excessive temperature, it enhances overall circulation, restores mind-body balance, and helps alleviate various discomforts.

Resta will use pesticide-free yomogi (mugwort) sourced from Ganghwa Island, South Korea—widely regarded as the birthplace of yomogi steam therapy. The yomogi used is a premium, three-year-aged ingredient, carefully steamed over 30 minutes to deeply warm the body.

Guests can enjoy this treatment in combination with the spa, sauna, and women-exclusive relaxation spaces for a more fulfilling experience.

To commemorate the launch, a special campaign will offer discounted pricing for two guests using the service simultaneously, available at a lower rate than the regular price.

Resta plans to continue expanding its range of relaxation treatments, integrating them with spa experiences in the future.

Dried yomogi is boiled, and guests sit with their lower body exposed to the steam, enveloping the body in soothing warmth. This promotes relaxation and a refreshing sensation through gentle sweating. Resta uses 'aged yomogi'—pesticide-free mugwort from Ganghwa Island, South Korea, aged for three years. The distinct, refreshing aroma of yomogi is especially pronounced.
